Moyen is a reference to size. Typically, a Moyen Standard Poodle is under 35 lbs. Just like "doodling" the generation of "doodle" greatly effects the type of fur/coat they have. If it is a first generation doodle the fur tends to be straighter and sometimes course to touch. How this matters? As of Spring 2025, this will be RJ Standard Poodles first generation of Moyen Standard Poodles. We the size may still be above 35 lbs on a few of the puppies due to genetic variety of the grandparents of dam and sire.
